Although in my opinion SEO is better than advertising (for the long run at least) and you can get a lot of visitors from places like Y! Answers, Google runs an excellent program called AdWords, where you can buy advertising space off of google, and sites using AdSense.
You can use youtube to advertise. It’s very powerful and I get about 50 viewers to my website a day from youtube alone.
Join bidvertiser they put your ad on other sites and when someone clicks the ad you pay a small fee. ( usally around 5-40 cents a click) Sign up through my website and get 20$ in free clicks.
PPC (pay per click).

I’m sold on Google AdWords, both as an advertiser and as a marketing professional. I’m working on my certification as a Google Pro, and excited about the opportunities. It appears to be a good program.

– free newsletter and way more – most things are free – target a specific group – target over 200 million people – target over 300,000 people
– adwords – make a video to promote
